Description
Environmental Liens and Activity & Use Limitations (AULs) are typically filed with land title records. An Environmental lien is a charge, security, or encumbrance on a property’s title to secure payment of cost or debt arising from response actions, cleanup, or other remediation of hazardous substances or petroleum products. Both legal restrictions are filed for two main reasons: The prevention of exposure to environmental contamination and the management of public health and environmental risks associated with a property that has been contaminated.
Our researchers will locate and inspect land title records to discover whether documents regarding Environmental Liens or AULs have been filed for a particular parcel. The results of our research will include:
-Parcel Identification Number
-Name and location of the Title Records researched
-Name of the Current Owner
-Copies of any Environmental Liens or AULs discovered
Price is on a per parcel basis. For projects with more than one parcel involved, an additional research charge will be applied. Please Contact US for a Cost Quote!
